Hey, welcome back,
A life blog? Would you imagine? Anyway, despite my desperate lack of a life and crippling MMO player syndrome, I managed to actually touch grass recently and went to see Joost Klien in London, and honestly, if y'all saw the whole ordeal, it was. (We will not talk about how late this is, I got sick and then the heatwave hit, and Im honestly depression maxxing rn, please allow it).
Why tf would you go to London?
I ask myself that all the time. No hate to London people, but London is just a different reality lol. No, but seriously, I wish more people did concerts outside London, and that's why Im forever grateful that Kaarija does his local to me, coz travelling like this is not good for me. But I did get to see my mum, so.
No, but on a serious note, if you ever plan on visiting London pls mentally prepare, coz travel in London is honestly a full-time job amount of work if you don't do it every day, for my case on this day it was also not helped by there being tube worker strikes (on the one day in years I go of course) so working everything out got even more annoying (tho as always we support any and all strike action for vital public services). Add the rain on and off, and it was a very frustrating experience. But in the infamous words of Parg whilst reping Armenia at the ESC 2025, "I'm a survivor, Staying alive-er" and I indeed stayed alive-er and got to the queue like 2 hours ahead, and like I can't speak for the main line, but the accessibility was surprisingly short a line, and I managed to meet a few good peeps through it.
So how was the concert itself?
Loud lol, and like not even in a concerts are loud way, everyone was so hyped, and it made for such a good experience, apparently people felt like the balcony was gonna fall too, so I think that says a lot. The set list was amazing, and some of my favourite songs were there too, which is always a good thing. There was a mosh pit, and surprisingly, I don't think anyone went down at all during the concert, which is a nice change of pace, as the past few shows I have been to, at least one person went down. Im also just so happy I went to get merch before the show started, coz omg the ques after, speaking of merch, I got these:
A Totebag (different design on the back, but shh)
And a bracelet
I also got given some kandi. I didn't catch the names of the people who gave it to me, but I hope y'all also had a dope time there \O/.
Make and CoOrd time
Time for well, the main thing people should first follow me for, I guess, and that's my make from the evening (as always, my coords need so much work, but im really working on it, I swear).
All pisc can be found
here on my insta
And some clear pics of my make and such:
Car best spot for selfies, fight me
How I be sending friends photos lol
Deffo thriving post-concert at midnight
You can hate me, but this is how my make looked after like 10 hours, rain, screaming and sweating. No touch-ups at all, too. My dead on the inside phase never ends, btw.
A little afterthought, weeks post when this was supposed to be published.
So in the weeks following all this, I've gathered some thoughts (when do I not have thoughts).
1. For the love of the Gods, please stop being so parasocial, it's scary. Joost is not your friend, he does not remember you exist, he only cares about you when it comes to you not dying/ getting hurt at his concert coz it looks bad on him.
2. You don't have the right to tell others how to enjoy their time, if someone wants to record bits of every song fucking let them without throwing a hissy fit??? Like we all paid to be there, we all have the right to record or not record it.
3. This is ridiculous, don't do this:

It costs you quite littreally nothing to take your cup with you and to hand it into the bar or throw it into the bin after the show, I dont care if you think staff are there to clean it or if there is cleaners, this is litterally dangerous to you and others if someone steps on a cup and slips, please for the love of everything be considerate of staff and others.
4. Please don't ask strangers on Reddit to get you merch and tell them you will pay them, that's literally how you get scammed, omg basic internet safety, people please.
5.
FFS be considered to others, this is not the you show, you are not the main character. Instead of rewriting others' stories im gonna link some I saw. Do not fucking harass or comment under these people, I swear. If you wanna talk about it, do it in my comments.
Story 1,
Story 2. Don't be the reason these stories get posted.
Anyway, concert etiquette outside accessibility and disabled lines and seating seems to be dead as always, but remember to look after others and yourself and have fun.
Question for next post: Do you have any concerts coming up? Any horror stories?
Polish word of the day: Koncert
Meaning: Well, concert lol.
Do zobaczenja <3
