Minecraft movie outing

 

Hey welcome back

So we have a classic life blog about me going to see the Minecraft movie coz like my life is pretty boring and this is the most exciting thing to happen in a while in my life lol.

So how was your day?

So yeah I went to see the Minecraft movie with my boyfriend and we managed to see it on release date, now originally we were gonna watch it in 3D coz we might as well make it a nice day out as we don't really go to the cinema often but out booking got cancelled due to "technical difficulties" and the only reason we even knew was coz of the refund going in (thanks vue for the great communication). But anyway after me having a bit of a meltdown over it (the tisim really doesn't like sudden change lol) we ended going for a earlier screening in 2D cos the next 3D screening would have finished at like 1am and well the boyfriend had to drive 3 hours back home the next day.

So we finally got to the cinema and after tackeling the devil that is stairs (and finding the elevator as we reached the top.. Sidenote rip my fucked up knees) we got to where people were lined up for snacks... Que well queuing for like 40 mins or so somehow before we grabbed our food and I managed to grab one of the topper cups with the pink sheep coz he's a cute little guy. A highlight tho was at some point these girls came in to line up and lowkey they were adorable and had like some of those like paper crowns but it was the pink sheep i think and bless them at one point one of them notices me and turns around to her friends all excited and the classic "Omg she's got a Minecraft axolotl tattoo" got said and like it always makes me happy to hear how excited some kiddos get at my little tattoo.

Anyway we finally made it into the theatre room and watch the movie and lowkey I really enjoyed it. Was it a good movie? No. Was it fun? Yes. Now we got lucky cos we didn't get any of the shinanigans I've seen online most we got was a kid repeating something a bit loud which got shut down by the present almost imidiatly. The only other thing was like gasps and whoas which I don't care about honestly. 

I did like the "subtilties" in the movie too, I loved the technoblade reffrence even tho i didn't grow up with him. I also absolutely loved the old man yaoi and like honestly new ship in the catalogue. The love plot between the villiger and Jennifer Coolidge it was lowkey so funny. There was so many good scenes honestly but im not a movie reviewer lol, tho the last scene with the Dennis song almost made me cry negl which probably a bit pathetic but. Also the after credits was so interesting.

Anyway I should probably get onto:

This is a gal blog after all lol. I went for a green make coz creeper aw man or something and I was inspired ( I forgot by who) to try these different type of contacts but tbh idk how to feel about them but here goes lol

I would show y'all the coord but lowkey I was lazy with it negl mostly cos of the rush partly coz honestly I was just tired lol. Anyway I think thats pretty much it, quick post (that still took me like what 2 weeks to write coz im awful lol). So y'all know what time it is:

Birthday 2024

 So August 16th marks yet another birthday for me and like lowkey I feel old lol, but with the massive change of me being with my good boyfriend and healing it means that for the first time in well a good 10+ years my bday was actually something special and not just a day of me grasping for attention for the day before being pushed aside again (sad but that's my life lol) anyway with this it means I actully got to do something amazing for my birthday, my boyf took me to a capybara meet and greet, now for yall that dont know Im so totally normal about capybaras and they are deffo not autisim go brrrrrrrrrrrrrr fav animal deffo not (thats sarcasm im not at all normal about these animals. But of course coz it's me and also boyf came over for the whole week (he lives on the litteral opposite end of England to me) we had to have one more trip (mostly coz the capybaras werre sold out on my actual birthday) and we went over to Bristol to get the FFXIV mount code and then ended up on a beach in Wales (so I technically went abroad this year lol). But with that summery aside let's get into the photos and such <3

Day 1 (15/08)

So as I said above the day before my actual birthday we went to the zoo (only a small one but still) and we littrelly drove up pretty much to the half way point between where me and boyf live lol. But it was still super fun and like compared to the other zoo we were considering this one was nice coz it was doable without spending littrelly the wole day there but like we still spent a good 5 hours there having fun including eating a meal deal next to a animetronic t-rex (many a fnaf jokes were made coz were cringe and also I dont think Ive seen a animatronic irl before this), the zoo is called All things wild near Evesham, Worcestershire.

The capy meet and greet

Now when I say I almost cried I mean it, I was so hype for this trip since I even knew this opertunity existed like I dont know how to describe to yall what I feel towards these animals on a deep personal level like yall don't understand how much I relate to them too. We met 3 when we went with one being named Bagel (this will be important later), we got to feed them as you can see in the pics (we did give them more then just carrots I promise lol) we got to give them some pats and scritches including some belly rubs and the fantastic zoo keeper gave us an amazing QnA as well, we also enjoyed a lovley chat from one of the capyies which honestly same girl same. It was honestly an amazing experiance and oppertunity and honestly Id love to go and do somrthing like this again (thogh true petting zoos/ cafes for capies are like none existant here) but like not to be dramatic but I don't think I'll ever forget this n my life.

Speaking of things I loved

This place had a little dino zoo type area (reminds me of ther one I used to go to as a kid) and it was the first time I've ever seen an annmetronic (que the Polish Freddy Fuzbear meme and on that note) as I mentioned above and honestly I know get where Scott got the idea for FNAF from coz like this guy scared the living shit out of me when I first turned the corner lol

Now don't get me wrong he cool as heck but when you dont expect it yk, but he wasnt the only dino so heres some highlights:

We also learned that if I was a dino Id be a Hypsiloophodon which is one of those little guys in the last pic.

Day 2 (16/08)

My actual birthday, and all I wanted was to go to a sandy beach (I know big ask in the uk) and we kinda did, not before we went to Bristol... Why Bristol? Well you see dear rreader me and boyf are cursed with this little thing known as FFXIV the mmo brain rot and there was a mount event where you had to get bubble tea from a specific franchise and it was either London which Im sorry ew or Bristol so bristol it was so you might be thinking oh fun just 2 teas to which my response is:

Lmao tbf the guy did do us a solid and did give us a spare code for a friend who didn't have one local (and he cant have any sugar either atm) so if anything we technically didn't get enough lol, nah but fr praise the worker for that solid honestly. Anyway onto the beach so after this we baically ended up in Wales after this on a totally sandy beach and just kinda watched the sunset.

Fun fact though we almost died on our way there lol, we were behind this truck and like yall know how cars have the red lights on the back that are just always on? Well for this guys truck to show he was breaking those light up slightly brighter and add sun into this and it means you couldnt see him break at all meaning we almost ended up in the back of him. Anyway after that we stopped for a bathroom break and me being me I got a cassual mojito for the ride after almost dying lol and of course we had to rave with Mr. Turtle
